ootball players skip big bowl games.  ESPN suffers big losses.  One university bets its future on a big new stadium.  With a simple statement, another university's football team sends the president packing.

 

What does all this mean for revenue sports and the universities that operate them?

 

We examine university revenue sports through a prism that refracts (1) insight into the revenue sport antitrust lawsuits that are pending; (2) forces other than those lawsuits that may trigger shifts in the revenue sport landscape; and (3) opportunities to lead the institutionnotwithstanding the challenges of the revenue sport industry and the economy—into a future of significance.
