I work as consulting general counsel to both established and start-up enterprises.  My focus on legal and regulatory risk helps a client improve economic results, create a durable enterprise, and emerge as a global leader.

I advise enterprises on legal and regulatory risks and opportunities they will encounter in both existing markets and new markets.

My expertise includes litigation strategy, dispute resolution, intellectual property and privacy matters, as well as corporate finance, governance and planning.

I serve as General Counsel for Institute for Social + Emotional Learning.  I advise the enterprise on legal, financial, employment, IP, planning and operational matters.

In the real estate industry, I represent owners, developers and users in sales, purchases, leases, development and financing of commercial properties.

In the sports industry, my skills extend to contract, licensing, collective bargaining, stadium financing, antitrust, Title IX, tax and gambling matters.

I worked as co-counsel on financing, acquisition, compliance and other corporate and start-up matters with White Summers.  I practiced as Of Counsel at Miller Starr Regalia, a leading real property law firm, where I assisted in establishing the firm's Silicon Valley office.

I spent a decade working in the commerical property development and brokerage industry. I also launched the California Real Estate Clinic, a start-up that offered an alternative to standard property brokerage services.
